Governance and Reporting Frameworks
ISO 14001
In response to environmental risk, Pilgrims’ Environmental Management System (EMS) is certified to ISO 14001. We have integrated numerous policies and processes to ensure that we operate to the highest possible standard and are able to fully measure the improvements we make. These processes lower our energy consumption, reduce waste and pollution, and mitigate the risk of emergency situations. Further detail can be found in our Environmental Policy.
EcoVadis
Pilgrims utilise EcoVadis, a globally recognised assessment platform, to rate and communicate our sustainability credentials. The ratings include 4 key areas:
- Environmental impact
- Labour and Human Rights standards

Internally, EcoVadis is used alongside internal processes to assess areas for improvement.
